Oli's Speckled Kegety
Oli came to us wanting an all round gravel crusher to take to South Africa to shred up the awesome dirt they have down there. The choice of the Kegety was obvious but something new to roll out with this build is the Shimano GRX gravel dedicated groupset in no less than Di2. We were excited to see how this build would turn out and we think you’ll agree it turned out pretty special.
The heart of the frame is our classic mix of Columbus Life and Zona tubes. Life has great ride characteristics and using Columbus’ super strong Omnicrom alloy can be pulled into extremely thin sections while maintaining its strength. That being said, the Kegety is designed to go anywhere and never let you down so with this in mind a good helping of Zona tubes with their thicker profile are used to beef up frame.
Oli went all out on the paint job for this and got his seat post, stem and pump painted to match. It is a lovely thing to behold and will look awesome soaking up the sun in South Africa.
