Peter's Dirty Kanza Kegety
Peter came to us looking for an awesome gravel bike with which he could take on the Dirty Kanza, a 200 mile gravel race down the dirt roads of Kansas. Billed as the race that kicked off the current gravel bike fervour we see in the scene today, it holds special status amongst gravel fanatics as one of the big ones everyone’s gotta do. Of course if you’re going to do an awesome race you’re going to need a killer bike to do it on, that’s where we come in.
Already being a Durmitor owner Peter knew that another Quirk would be the only way to go, and what better weapon than the Kegety. With it’s oodles of clearance, fast geometry and roll over anything design, this bike would be ideal for the dusty backroads it was going to face.
This build happened to be one of the first to use one of our new Paint-Haus signature finishes, in this case Kinder II. A nice touch here is the matching Silca Impero frame pump and custom built SBC wheels.
