Ed's Marauding Kegety

We’re lucky to have customers all over the world and although we haven’t visited every place where our bikes go we are lucky enough to have visited the Indian subcontinent. Even luckier we are pleased to be sending our first bike there, this awesome 650b Kegety.

Having been wanting a bike that could handle the rough with the smooth we decided that the best option was to shod Ed’s Kegety in 650b tyres and keep them slick to roll fast on the flat and wide to deal with loose gravel, all while floating comfortably over any bumps in the road.

We kept the groupset simple using a 1x11 and a wide ratio cassette. SRAM Rival 1 is perfect for the job and tough enough to take the abuse it can expect off-road. While we kept the group simple Ed went for beautiful reliability with Chris King components all round in Matte Jet matching our BB, headset and wheel hubs. When working with such great parts it’s important to use the best builders in the business and who better to build our wheels than DCR Wheels.

For the paint Ed opted for our in house signature Kinder II, a beautiful riot of hot pink and shimmering navy. I think you’ll agree it’ll look perfect flying down the streets of Delhi.
