Quirk wins Best Newcomer Award at DT Swiss Craft Bike Days 2023
Last month Quirk Cycles, along with 38 other builders, descended on Bielefeld, Germany for the annual DT Swiss invitational, Craft Bike Days. A cross between a show and an industry event, Craft Bike Days brings together small bike companies to meet and learn and present to each other. The event was excellent and was awesome to be able to meet and talk with so many other builders about their craft.
The show was special for Quirk Cycles as we presented our first titanium build, the TITAN. A new exploration for our bikes and yes, that is a titanium fork you see.
Between the talks the builders eye up each others builds and vote for their favourite. I was honoured to be awarded Best Newcomer (to the show) by my peers and was totally bowled over by the support.
