I've always been interested in how things are made. Not just how they work, but how they feel. The materials they're made from. The decisions behind them. The details most people never notice. Before Quirk, I studied contemporary art and research architecture. That that taught me to think about objects, spaces and the relationship between people and the things they live with. Today, those same ideas find their way into every bicycle that leaves the workshop.

Founded in Hackney Wick in 2015, Quirk Cycles is built on a simple belief: performance and beauty should never be separate conversations. Every bicycle is designed with intention, produced in small numbers and refined through riding, testing and constant iteration. It's a process driven as much by curiosity as engineering.

Over the years, Quirk bicycles have received awards at international handmade bicycle shows, but that's never really been the point. The goal has always been to make bicycles with character. Bicycles that feel considered. Bicycles people want to live with, not just ride. Somewhere between engineering and mischief.
