Sanjeev's Peacock Road
Every bike we build we hope has some special significance to the owner, but in the case of Sanjeev this build commemorates the memory of his father and grandmother. Sanjeev was keen to do them justice and I think you’ll agree that we did just that.
Inspired by his Indian heritage and his association of his grandmother with peacocks Sanjeev was keen to incorporate a design derived from the bird. Initially he came to us with illustrations but we thought one of the greatest aspects of the peacock is its iridescent feathers which depending on how the light hits them, shimmer and shift between hues of metallic green and blue. To capture this effect we looked into colour changing ‘flip’ paints, but settled on using a blue and green candy paint faded into one another, letting the fade do the colour shift.
We love the way this build turned out and Sanjeev has been happily cruising the lanes of Essex with a big smile on his face.
