Kiran's Shredded Overland

I have a soft spot for the Overland, it’s capable and tough, ready to take you across the wildest terrain, but is also extremely fun to ride. Unloaded it is nimble, fast and screaming to be shredded. I even ride one on my commute! So you can see, it’s such a great all-rounder. You can imagine how stoked I was when Kiran got in touch wanting a super tricked out Overland.

Kiran was sold on this for his bike packing rig. The cargo capability of the fork with rack makes it perfect for lugging your sleeping gear and anything else you care to starp on. It makes a lot of sense too when you want to keep those tidy Enve bars free from strap marks, plus the added control from having the weight lower down the front of the bike makes it a pleasure to ride.

No expense was spared on this rig with the best in shifting technology using SRAM’s XX1 Eagle wireless groupset with it’s massive 52T cassette. There’s going to be little this bike can’t climb!

We also opted for Zipp’s excellent 3Zero Moto single wall rims. Although adding a touch more weight, the added cush and traction that the wheels add to the ride hey to smooth out the lack of front suspension and keep the bike firmly planted.

Strapped to the front is a beautiful raw stainless steel Rack ‘N’ Roll, a great way to crown such a grippingly gorgeous build.
