Charlie's Stunning Durmitor
Here we have Charlie’s Durmitor, the first Durmitor proper to roll out of the workshop utilising our new standard geometry and the Enve Road Disc forks that come as standard on this model. We’re super happy to see this build come together and if you look closely you’ll see some great little details.
The build utilises a keen selection of tubes from Columbus and Dedacciai to get the best balance of strength and weight. Columbus Spirit forms the backbone of the build utilising the new Omnicrom alloy which now brings Columbus’ steel close to their stainless XCR in strength. At the rear though Dedacciai seat stays have been used due to their lightness and their ability to flex a bit more, giving more cush for your tush.
It was great to get to build using the new SRAM Red AXS group. This groupset has changed the rules of the game with new gear ratios, axle standard, responsive clutch and chain design. We haven’t had a chance to ride it yet but it looks like it will change everything.
As ever Cole Coatings Workshop executed a simple but striking finish on this build, concentrating all the detail and masking on the inside of the forks, the main stay of the paint is a classic blue and orange contrast. The logos just pop on this one. What a beauty!
